Ok I give credit to Johe who complied that information as well as added the links and what not. Also any thing in green in his post is additions and comments of my own.
My main reason for this thread was due to the last quest which is "Path of the Prophet". It had had an interesting bit about the Shissr during the dialogue. He is what was said:
Eva Corunno'thes, "You've made it at last! The Rite of Renewal is completed. What have your remembered, ancient one?"
Kurista, "I remember everything now, princess. I recall the time before the Dream Ring, when I was but a speck of life, unaware of myself."
Eva Corunno'thes, "Thats is when Tunare spoke to you."
Kurista, "Yes. One day early in that life, I came to rest in the palm of her hand, and she laughed and whispered to me. "You are precious!" She said, and then I know who I was."
Eva Corunno'thes, "You were the first Fae! What was it like, in that time?"
Kurista, "It was joyous! i danced and Soared across the forest, spreading her message to the flowers, the trees, and the animals. Before I knew it, there were other fae. they surrounded me like children, and I told them all how precious they were, and they became aware. That was Eons ago. Long before we became the beings you see today."
Eva Corunno'thes, "Amazing! Then you remember everything. What of the Forgotten prophecies? There is a message you must give me, about the prohecy be both dreamed of."
Kurista, "Yes. In another life, still many rings ago, I was called upon by Queen elizerain to hear a prophecy. She showed me her jewel of knowledge, imbued with runes of the Nameless, the Lifeguide. She told me how one day it would be lost and I would find it."
Eva Corunno'thes, "You mean you have it?!"
Kurista, "I do. But the Lifeguide is part of your destiny, not mine. You are one of the Champions who must restore the balance which mortals and gods have destoryed. Now take this stone and throw off your disguise, for only the chosen of Tunare can wield it!"
Eva Corunno'thes turns into Firona Vie after taking the stone.
Firona Vie, "Hail. thanks to your help, Kurista has found her calling, and now I know what I must do."
You, "What is Kurista's calling?"
Firona Vie, "Kurista shall assume my previous role as Propeht of Growath. it is now my duty to once again walk Norrath as the Tunare's Chosen, and champion the cause of balence."
You, "What will you do next?"
Firona Vie, "I have heard rumors that my old adventuring companion, Al'Kabor, lives once more. i must Confer with him about prophecy. Now That I have the Lifeguide once more, we will be able to unravel the riddle of the Shissar Calendar."
You, "Alright. What now?"
Firona Vie, "I wish that I could do more for you, but I must make haste. The Beast of Ages' end will not stand idly by while we prepare to battle him."
You [color=gray"I understand."[/color]
*A small display of Firona Vie appointing Kursita the new propeht of Growth and this bascily ends the quest. Giving you the title of: Scion of Growth.*
Here is Johe information:
Based on the lore thats already circulating, I compiled a list and added some thoughts about what I found, Since alot of the lore did involve raiding, I was very interested in it and wanted to share a consolidated list of some links that I spent many many hours of reading and searching. I attempted to leave as much info and credit due to where it was earned but wanted to keep the post smaller and provided the links to the details:
Vhalen's Note :A Bitter-sweet Farewell
The Athenaeum - EverQuest 2 Lore
Forums lore: The Book of Sundering
Vhalen's final gift to us. The Shissar knew of thier fates....
The Coming of the True Creator (Chelsith Stone)
-Also ties in Prexus which I believe is represented by the 9 dots symbol
The Athenaeum - EverQuest 2 Lore
See Vhalens post concerning Chamber of Destiny:
The Chamber of Destiny:
In the lost shissar city of Chelsith rests a vault built to hide one of the greatest creations on Norrath, the Shissar Calendar. This ancient calendar was built to foretell the fate of Norrath. The shissar used the calendar to foretell the death of their empire. Their attempts to combat that fate and save the shissar race failed. I think that actaully succeed in this. After reading many posts with lore revolving around the calendar. Several things stand out. They know when their races was doomed, they know when Luclin was going to blow and they know when Norrath was doomed. That being said, it would make all sense that when the went to the moon and knew when it was going to blow up that they would leave before it happened. However, one of their creations, a great stone machine, did succeed in containing a small portion of the deadly force that destroyed the Shissar Empire. A small portion of that evil force is more than enough to slay an entire kingdom. Fortunately, a device of great destruction has a guardian of great destruction. The creature that dwells here has done so for ages and for ages it has been transforming its environment, covering much of the secrets of the shissar including a portion of the Shissar Calendar. That creature is the Leviathan which is explained in the "Fate of Norrath" Raid quest line.
Protectors Realm. What the #$#^ are they protecting?
Trakanon is defeated..now what?
(Insert the Lore from the defeat of Trakanon here: Cannot find a link on the web maybe someone will care to share, there is an EQ2players post that references some insight to mayong's connection that fills the void and those final details to lead to the following:
Vhalen's final gift to us. The Shissar knew of thier fates....
Scroll down to Snark's Post for the image. Which is actually the same symbol represented on the Shissar Calendar refering to the destruction of Luclin.
Bottom Right symbol is seen in the fountain in Starcrest Commune with graphics turned up:
Vhalen's final gift to us. The Shissar knew of thier fates....
Scroll down to Coniaric's post to see the image.
Which is actually the same symbol represented on the Shissar Calendar refering to the erudite involement some how. After a great deal of thought as well as having done a bit of lore digging in the Odus Expansion I believe the the great mistake by the Erudits when linking their improved spire system to the old combine one. Causing their evolution and zapping Odus to Utlera that they allowed the void to have a more of a foot hold closer to Norrath.
This would be the tie-in for Odus which reintroduces Erud's Crossing and the return of Prexus.
Innorruk, God of Hate
I believe the bottom left symbol represents Inny and the Plane of Hate and war on the Plane of Power (lore in another link) Look at the picture of Inny notice the 3 horns on the head and turned to the side. (Big speculation here but then see Mayong Below) Actually he is wrong in his assumption that is actually the symbol of Rallos Zek, which he has been a figure of consistant present in Norraths History due to the two Rallosian Wars.
Gods of Everquest
Side Note: (Everling Tie-in and eventual lead in to the plane of hate)
The Lady of Betrayal (Ulkorruuk, and Plane of Hate tie-in) His side note is close but actaully Everlings tie-in is to The Grey Waste as it with Varsoon. But what Everling really discovered is the Rune of Oblivion upon the Calender.
The Athenaeum - EverQuest 2 Lore
Mayong Mistmoore (An SK) and the Bloodmoon Gem (SK Epic quest tie-in stating with the quest "They Have Searched an Age for a Dark Champion")
-Gem is the key to defeating Innoruk (Plane of Hate)
-Innorruuk placing a mortal assault on the Plane of Power which are the other planes merged. So is this assault by the Plane of Hate on the Plane of Power the start of the Sundering?
Mayong Mistmoore and the Bloodmoon Gem
I can't say that he was wrong or right in his assumption. Yes, mortals did assault the Planes of Power but there was no merger. During the Raid quest/access line during the planes of power, eventually your character in EQ1 would gain access to the plane of time. However upon killing Quarm during that "Raid Expedition: Plane of Time". Druzzil Ro and Zebuxoruk exchange words upon which Druzzil Ro reverts time to before you ever entering the other Planes of Power. Now when Druzzil Ro did the reverting of time, she caused a time split between EQ2 now and EQOA. Never the least yes the Sundering/Rending of the Age of Cataclyums was a result of mortals entering into the gods realms. It dies explained a bit with the lore around the Tome of Destiny.
And with the sundering does it break the seals of the gods that are keeping keraphym at bay? This is wrong, even in the KoS Expansion there is no lore supporting that Keraphym is still sleeping or is awake ir if the seal was broken at all. However from what I have read that it IF Keraphym is awake the Norrath would be destoryied anyways as well as the Kerephym has enough power to even kill Veeshan.
Center Symbol Represents Keraphym
3 candles - Brell (Earth)
9 Dots - Prexus (Water) - I don't think this is right, so far I have not seek this symbol represent in either on a forum post, EQ1 Quest or EQ2 Quests.
3 lines - Quellious (Traquility)
makes sense for imprisonment I don't this completely make sense at all for imprisoning Keraphym or if the symbol which the community believes to be is Keraphym at all. The symbol does also look like Innorruuks symbol as well.
There some old lore speaks of an alliance between brell, tunare and prexus, rallos zek was invited but he declined but that also leads in for the reintroduction of the rathe mountains and Highbourne. So instead of Quellious it could be Tunare but Q fits better.
The old lore also mentions hidden agendas of the gods Brell and the ratonga and the bottom of kaladim, etc.. He is right here and the event that took place is refered to the First Pace of the Gods, but I no sure about the whole having Q fit better for the reintroduction of Rathe Mounatins or Highbourne. The first pace of the gods took place eras before any event fully took place on Norrath. However him stating the hidden agenda the gods it true to a point.
As Razieh stated earlier in regards to the Shisshar and Ethenere, they went into hiding, eq2 lore ties it in with Everling and the Nektulos Tribulation with the Idol of Everling hidden quest:
"Kantus and Rikantus were channeling the spirit of Rikantus Everling! It seems that when he entered the plane of Ethernere his soul could not withstand the violent forces at play there and was ripped into three parts: Rikantus Everling, Antiquitor Kantus Mor'Tael and your old friend, Rikantus!"
Explains our lead in to Ethernere with EQ2
Allakhazam.com: Final Fantasy XI: Wiki: The Everling Saga Ok after doing a bit of research the Book of Sundering and Everling. Everling bought a cursed idol from Varsoon (he was looking for Immortality) to find a way to bring back his daugthers. But the curse on the idol would eventually cause Everlings mind to fragment and render him unable to have focused thought. Everling DID manage to figure out that the Idol is link to the Rune of Oblivion and is turn is linked to the Rune of Sunder which are part of the Shissar Calendar. Etherene far in to the story of Everling cause Etherene is refered to as The Grey Waste which is just a reference to as the afterlife.
Zebuxoruk's prophecies:
Library of Mayong
"This book is newly bound, and seems to be a collection of Zebuxoruk's prophecies as told to the monks of the Whistling Fist in the Tower of the Four Winds. Notes are scribbled in the margins in clean penmanship.
1. Once more, her allies will give rise to the thought of life anew. "Definitely a reference to Tunare. The presence of growth in the Lesser Faydark is undeniable."
2. The hissing of the serpent shall strike back at this world with unexpected ferocity. "Unknown at this time. Perhaps more to be uncovered in the future? -SV"
3. Those who toil in eternity shall find riches in the dusk of time. "Likely a simple proverb. I can't imagine this being more... -SV"

6. Those from below shall attempt to further their agenda below the throne of Brell. "Most assuredly the ratonga. Our network of informants has indicated that they are up to something in the ancient dwarven halls of Kaladim. -SV"
7. Cleft in twine at the dawn of time, the two shall stand once more in a united front against that which brings the end. "Ahh, this is your favorite, my master. I believe this will be very crucial to your research. I trust you already know what this references. -SV"

11. Etched in stone, the first key from dawn shall be revealed. "Another line of great import, I believe. This may reference the stone which you have been researching. -SV"
12. The age of the dragons is waning though they know it not. Seek now your fortune in the affairs of the other mortal races. "And the Claws will get their due. Though I believe 'mortal races' to be a mistake. Obviously the ungod forgets us. -SV"

Read the post here in regards to Far Seas Trading Company HQ in the remains of Highpass on the map below would be the serpeants fang:

Overall enough lore here for at least 3 expansions but including possible areas to be released or introduced in the next expansion:
Odus - (already here)
Highbourne - (doubt)
Rathe Mountains - (Doubt)
The gray wastes - (Possibly but Doubt)
Ethernere - (same as grey waste)
Erud's Crossing and Prexus related zones - (Goes with the Odus expansion)
Plane of Power (Aside from hate these planes consolidated for survival one the links about had some lore about it)
Serpants Fang (Far seas trading company HQ formerly Highpass) Are they involved sooner? or Later? (My guess is later)
All the information after Zebuxoruk's prophecies I find to be all speculation but being that Johe post was make in 2008 and that the link to You ask for this.. here it is was made in 2007 and the mention of Highbourne was mentioned several time seems odd. Seven since 2007 there has been three expansions, Moor of Yhesa, TSO, and SF. What ever Vhalen had for Highbroune never came to be and if Johe thoguht that the region of High Pass Hold and Rathe Mountains would come back was a fat chance in hell. Both areas would link to land masses together, High Pass Hold would link, Enchanted lands, Karen, and D'lere together. Rathe mountians would link Karen and Ferrott together. So I highly doubt SOE would have that introduce as future expansions which is evidence with Moor, TSO and SF. Not sure why Johe thoguht that this would happen unsure. However prehaps Highbourne was the orginal name of the Moor of Yhesha but that can be determined since Vhalen left SOE (which is a shame).
All in all Johe post on EQ2 Flames was an excellent spring board to use for more indepth research I think he needed to get a more better understanding of the lore involving the shissar calender.
